How this works

Nothing is written to the registry until you explicitly confirm the changes shown in Review. Only matched points' coordinates are written — nothing else about the equipment record changes.
Scope of this import
Only equipment point placemarks are imported. Feeder route lines, decorative layers,
and any other non-equipment labels in the KMZ are ignored.
